The second edition of the World Premier 12 Baseball Championship will be held from 2 to 17 November 2019 in four countries on two continents;Asia and North America. Traditionally, starting in the debut tournament in 2015, the top 12 countries of the world rankings for the previous year will participate in the championship. In the first phase of the championship, a dozen participants will be divided into three groups in four. Hosts will be Taiwan, Korea and Mexico. The final stage will be held in Japan, where the first two teams from each stream will gather. After matches each against each other (the results of the already played matches will be respected) the best two teams in the final ranking of the Top 6 will meet again in the title final. The third and fourth will argue about bronze medals. Visas for the first Olympic baseball tournament after Beijing `08 will receive one team from the Asia / Oceania Zone and the America Zone. As the host of the Tokyo Games, Japan`s 20 are automatically ranked, so only one team will be able to fight for one quota during Premier 12;Korea, Taiwan and Australia.
