Magic guard Kevon Harris explained what started the fight between his teammate Mo Bamba and Minnesota player Austin Rivers.
A minute and a half before the end of the third quarter, Rivers, after an inaccurate 3-pointer, found himself next to the Orlando bench, and a verbal altercation broke out. At some point, Bamba, who was on the bench, jumped up from his seat and attacked his opponent. Soon a brawl broke out involving several basketball players.
Bamba simply told Rivers he was no longer on the school team, that`s all, Harris said.
Rivers, during the post-match press conference, also said that the reason for the confrontation was the words addressed to him, but did not specify the details.
