Hamilton spoke about the difficulties in light of the transition to Ferrari. Even before the start of the 2024 season, the Mercedes driver decided that next year he would continue his career in the Italian team.

So yes, in general there were many such awkward moments during the season. I was shot at heavily and had a lot of bruises. People were hunting me that day.
I assumed it would be difficult, but in fact I greatly underestimated the situation and had no idea how difficult it would be. Relationships with the guys on the team became strained and it took a while for people to get over it and put it behind them.
Well, for me this year turned out to be very emotional, and I can say that I myself did not cope with emotions in the best way. Many of you (journalists at the press conference) have been on our site throughout my career - and have seen both my best moments and my worst.
And I`m not going to apologize for either one or the other, because I`m only human and things don`t always work out for me. And I would say this year was one of the worst in terms of how I dealt with the situation.
And, as I said, let`s remember only the good things. After all, working together, you go through a lot with these people, you experience both ups and downs together. Some get married, some get divorced, some lose family members to cancer, and much more. You experience all this together. And along the way you experience many wonderful moments, " Hamilton said.
