This probably won`t be a popular opinion, but I`d argue that the show everyone loves, Inside the NBA, has hurt the league more in the last 10 years than anything else.
The show comes out every week, and the hosts do nothing but trash the players. They spread gaming styles. Other shows on other channels and in other leagues analyzed by fixed games are generally positive. They cover the games with enthusiasm. And these guys only nail the players.
Houston in the NBA Cup semifinals. Charles Barkley says the Rockets don`t know how to play basketball and don`t even know what they`re doing. What are you doing? You are harming your own product by belittling it every time.
Globally, the NBA is doing just fine. Significantly more popular than the NFL. But in America, their ratings are not all right, " McIntyre concluded.
