An unpleasant event diminished the joy of Schalke 04`s team over the defeat of Bayer (Leverkusen) earlier in the day in the Bundesliga. Two of the fans of the visiting squad were injured in the first half as they stumbled and fell down the stairs in their sector. One of them is in a critical condition because he has landed on his head, revealed King Heidell`s manager, Skye. The other one has only minor injuries.
Because of what happened and while the doctors were giving first aid to the injured, the other fans kept silent as a sign of sympathy.
On the pitch, Gelsenkirchen won 2-0.
